Learn the Art of burlesque with Kittens!

Keda Breeze of the Pink Kitten Dance SchoolNOW here's something you don't tend to see on a list of evening classes; Pink Kitten Dance School are offering the women of Plymouth a rare opportunity to learn burlesque with one of Britain's finest exotic dance schools.

The one-off course, on Saturday, October 25, is run by Bristol-based exotic dance school Pink Kitten, and promises to teach students everything a budding burlesque performer could ever want to know.

The Introduction to Burlesque course will provide participants with everything they need to get themselves up and running as a bedroom or stage starlet.

The session will go over the importance of make-up and clothing when putting together a character and routine, striptease techniques, glove-peeling and even the famous tassel-twirling.

Having performed on TV and in venues around the world, Keda Breeze's teachers will be expert guides in leading pupils through the day and will be on hand to teach everyone how to bring some glamour into their lives.

The burlesque class is priced at £25 for the session, the classes are from 12pm to 2pm or 2pm to 4pm at The Barbican Theatre, Plymouth.

"The classes are a fun way to learn burlesque", said Keda. "With the expertise of the teachers we will have everyone feeling confident, sexy and ready to perform their moves, whether that's in the privacy of their own bedroom or for a show-stopping performance in front of hundreds."

Pupils are advised to wear something in which they can move easily but feel sexy; heels will need to be worn.

There are still a few places available for the workshop. To book a place please contact the school on 0117 944 1666 or visit them online www.pinkkittendanceschool.com.
