Apolcalypse Wow! Kitty Kitty Bang Bang Texas Burlesque

Apolcalypse Wow, Kitty Kitty Bang Bang Texas BurlesqueThis vaudeville show features the Texas burlesque sweethearts Kitty Kitty Bang Bang and the No Salvation Army Band. The band will be performing some of their favorite apocalyptic musical romps, and the Kitty Kitty gals will do a lot of tassel-shaking. At the Compound, 1300 E. 4th St., (right next to Scoot Inn). 9 p.m. Tickets are $15 and available at all Forbidden Fruit locations or online at www.texaskitties.com.

Apocalypse Wow! is a wickedly sexy collaboration between the Texas burlesque sweethearts Kitty Kitty Bang Bang and the perverse geniuses of Ruby Rico productions and the No Salvation Army Band from Broken Clock Cabaret: a Tom Waits Peepshow.
Like Mad Max with a dash of wild-west snake-oil show, vaudeville, and backyard carnival, this show is our take on how we learned to quit worrying and love the boob. The party is just beginning.

"Well, we have wanted to do this show for a long time, and the timing just seems perfect for it right now, the end of days is something that is always kind of lurking around in the social psyche but right now it has seemed pervasive; so we had to just had to shake our tassels and have some fun with it," said Stacey Breakall, a.k.a. Tijuana Trixe of the Kitty Kitty Bang Bang. "We are happy we were able to get No Salvation Army Band on board with us, they are amazingly talented, a really fun and rowdy bunch to watch onstage."

The No Salvation Army Band, known for the weirdness and chutzpah they brought to the infamous Tom Waits Peepshow, will be sharing the stage with the kitties. They'll be performing some of their favorite apocalyptic musical romps and providing live music for most of the show. Also, an all-time kitty show favorite, the burlesque oddities of the amazing Buffy West!

Fear not good citizens, burlesque will survive the Apocalypse!
Apocalypse Wow! will go down the Compound on 1300 East 4th street (right next to Scoot Inn) on Saturday, October 11th. 9:00pm. Seating and a full cash bar will be available.
