Dita Von Teese Stars in Frederick's of Hollywood Pin-Up Parade

Dita Von TeeseFrederick's of Hollywood istaking its 2007-08 Holiday collection back to the vintage era of glamourgoddesses and dream dames. To help unveil the company's upcoming "Pin-UpParade" Holiday campaign, the lingerie legend has commissioned burlesquebombshell Dita Von Teese as its cover girl. The Pin-Up Parade is VonTeese's first print collaboration with an American lingerie purveyor aswell as a historical landmark for Frederick's of Hollywood. In its sixty-year history, this is the first campaign to feature a celebrity onits iconic catalog cover.

Thecatalogs featuring this burlesque legend will be collector's items foryears to come." Indeed, consumers and vintage collectors alike will beclamoring for the limited edition catalogs, the first of which will hithomes nationwide the week of November 5th. They will see a second versionhit homes the week of November 26th in time to kick off the postThanksgiving shopping season.

Drawing inspiration from the company's own line of lingerie in the1940's, Frederick's catalog and retail imagery will feature Von Teese'sfamous curves in signature shots including the traditional feather fandance and ski bunny pin-up scenes. Dita also slips in to the "Pin-Up ModelBustier," a sleek and sexy vintage design inspired by Frederick's ownhistorical archives.
